This is normal for apps not yet listed on the Google Play Store — it doesn't mean the app is unsafe, it just means Google hasn't reviewed it through the Play Store process yet.
To proceed: tap “More details” on the warning screen, then “Install anyway.” If you'd rather verify first, check the file size and version number on this site match what you downloaded.
This usually means one of two things:
Your phone needs a one-time permission to install apps from outside the Play Store. The exact menu names vary slightly by phone brand, but it's the same idea everywhere:
You only need to do this once per app-and-browser combination.
Try switching to Wi-Fi if you're on mobile data, or use Chrome instead of your phone's default browser. If it still fails, wait a few minutes and try again.
No. Your expense data is stored securely in the cloud, tied to your account, not to the app installation on your phone. Updating won't affect it, as long as you sign back in with the same account.
Check Settings → About inside the app for your current version number, then compare it to the version listed on this website's download page.
Tap the notification, or come back to this site and tap “Download” again. Install it the same way you installed the app the first time. It updates in place, over your existing app.
Delete the partially downloaded file from your Downloads folder, then try again, ideally on Wi-Fi for a more stable connection.
Check your spam / junk folder first. If it's still not there, use “Resend verification email” in the app, and double-check you typed your email correctly at sign-up.
Use “Forgot password” on the login screen, and you'll get a reset link by email.
Make sure your phone number was entered correctly and that you have signal or data. Tap “Resend code” rather than requesting several codes in a row.
We're still in early testing with real users before submitting to Google's review process. The app itself hasn't changed — it's the same app that will eventually be on the Play Store, just distributed directly for now.
Yes. Your data is stored securely and tied only to your account — it's not shared with third parties, and it's not visible to other users.

You don't need all of this — a partial report still helps. But if you can, including these lets us fix things faster:
If the app crashed or froze, the first thing to try is closing it fully and reopening it. Let us know whether that fixed it — it's a big clue.
